Standard Nuclear Signs TRISO Fuel Supply Deal With Antares Nuclear Through 2035

07:36 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Nuclear (STDN) said Thursday it signed a binding fuel supply agreement with Antares Nuclear to provide TRISO nuclear fuel for the latter's microreactors serving defense and space applications. Under the agreement, Standard Nuclear said it will supply a minimum of one metric ton of uranium (MTU) and up to eight MTUs of TRISO fuel through 2035. The company said the deal strengthens the domestic supply chain for advanced nuclear reactors. Financial terms were not disclosed. Standard Nuclear shares were 1.2% higher in premarket trading.
