Ardmore Shipping Exercises Options for Two Additional Handysize Tankers

08:46 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ardmore Shipping (ASC) said Thursday that it exercised options for two additional 40,500 deadweight tonnes Handysize product/chemical tankers to be built at Wuhu Shipyard. The move expands its original order to six vessels on similar terms, with no further options outstanding, it said. Deliveries of the six tankers are scheduled to begin in late 2028 and continue thereafter, it added.
