US To Sell $85 Bln In Reopened 6-Week Bills Tue
Dow Jones2026/08/27 15:00WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--The U.S. Treasury plans to auction $85 billion in reopened 6-week bills Tuesday.
The debt will settle on Sept. 03, 2026 and will mature Oct. 15, 2026.
The debt is a reopening of an issue first sold on April 16, 2026.
The Federal Reserve holds $18.568 billion of maturing securities for its own account. Amounts bid by the Federal Reserve banks for their own account will be in addition to the public offering amount.
Noncompetitive tenders for the 6-week bills, available in minimum denominations of $100, must be received by 11:00 AM Eastern Time Tuesday. Competitive tenders available in minimum denominations of $100, must be received by 11:30 AM Eastern Time.
The CUSIP number is 912797UK1.
