Eli Lilly Unit to Make $8.6 Million Milestone Payment to Nxera Pharma

04:40 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly (LLY) unit Centessa Pharmaceuticals has achieved a late-stage development milestone related to its selective orexin receptor 2 agonist portfolio, triggering an $8.6 million payment to research collaboration partner Nxera Pharma, Nxera said Thursday. The company will recognize the milestone payment as revenue in its fiscal Q3. Nxera said it retains rights to receive future development and commercialization milestones, as well as royalties, associated with the programs.
