Cybercab officially launched, Tesla rises over 5%

Glonghui, September 4th — On the afternoon of September 3rd, Eastern Time, Tesla unveiled its first native autonomous taxi, Cybercab, in Austin, Texas. The vehicle is a dual-seater model designed natively for full self-driving, featuring a gold exterior and butterfly doors. The interior has no steering wheel or pedals and is equipped with a large interactive touchscreen for controlling entertainment and air conditioning. The new Cybercab also offers dedicated designs for accessibility configurations, in-car camera safety monitoring, USB-C ports, and App-based vehicle control. Tesla’s official website has already updated the "Cybercab Passenger Guide." According to the website, Cybercab's ride-hailing service is only available in restricted areas of Austin, Texas. Currently, Robotaxi fleets in Tampa and Miami, Florida, as well as Dallas and Houston, Texas, are operated using modified Model Y vehicles. On the same day, Tesla’s intraday price once surged over 7%, ultimately closing at $376.37, up 5.42%.
