Circle CEO openly supports stock tokenization: Over 1% of CRCL shares are held in tokenized form, totaling more than $280 million, ranking first among publicly listed companies worldwide.
According to Odaily, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire posted on X: “Over 1% of CRCL shares are held in tokenized stock form, corresponding to a scale of more than $280 million, making it the highest proportion among all listed companies worldwide. In which year will the 'flip' happen?” (Odaily note: 'flip' refers to the moment when the proportion of tokenized shares surpasses traditional securities.)
Previously, the CEOs of AMC and Robinhood exchanged remarks regarding the form, legitimacy, and legality of stock tokenization. Circle CEO’s post may subtly signal his stance in support of tokenized stock transformation.
