UK natural gas futures rose 6.73% this week, while Dutch TTF increased by 9.24%.

On Friday (September 4), at the end of the European session, ICE UK natural gas futures rose by 1.03% to 179.830 pence/kcal, up 6.73% for the week, with prices fluctuating at high levels most of the time. TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures increased by 1.29% to 72.418 euros/MWh, gaining 9.24% for the week. From August 31 to September 2, prices continued to rise during the Asia-Pacific morning sessions (peaking at 75.339 euros), then consistently gave back gains. ICE EU carbon emission allowance (futures price) increased by 0.47% to 83.40 euros/tonne, up 1.45% for the week.
