According to reports, Zimbabwe has banned the export of antimony and tungsten with immediate effect. This move is part of the government's efforts to encourage mining companies to carry out more refining and processing domestically. According to a letter from Mining Department Secretary Thomas Wushe to the state-owned Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe, the shipment of ores and concentrates has also been suspended. This letter, dated July 21, has been confirmed by the Mining Department.
