- Deal expected to triple Clarion’s European AUM to USD 13 billion, lifting total AUM 12% to USD 82 billion.
- Transaction would take Franklin Templeton’s alternatives AUM above USD 300 billion, strengthening its European real assets footprint.
- Stoneshield will serve as Clarion’s opportunistic investment platform in Europe, keeping offices across Spain, Portugal, Ireland, the UK, Luxembourg.
- Closing targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, with Stoneshield co-founders Juan Pepa, Felipe Morenés continuing to run the business.
