Lån & Spar: Denmark new-home construction costs rise 2.4% in Q2, up 2.8% y/y

- Labour costs rose 3% year-on-year; materials increased 2.6%.
- Earthworks and concrete drove the quarterly jump, up 7%, with related material costs up 9.5%.
- Single-family home build costs rose 2.9% year-on-year; costs have climbed more than 30% since early 2020.
- A standard 140 sqm home costs about DKK 750,000 more than six years ago; net monthly payments rose to about DKK 9,900.
