12:01 PM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Athena Gold (ATHA.CN) completed a vertical amalgamation with its subsidiary, Last Bounty Gold Corp, effective Sept. 10, it said Friday. The resulting amalgamated company will continue as Athena Gold Corporation, said the company. Athena Gold completed the amalgamation to simplify its corporate structure, reduce administrative and compliance costs, and strengthen operational efficiency, it said. Athena will assume the assets, liabilities and obligations of the subsidiary, and all issued and outstanding shares of the subsidiary will be canceled, it added. The amalgamation will not have any significant effect on its business and operations, and Athena Gold's shares will continue to be listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange, it added. Shares of the company were last seen down CA$0.015, or 3.8%, at CA$0.385 on the Canadian Securities Exchange. Price: 0.39, Change: -0.02, Percent Change: -3.75
