(1) US Secretary of Energy Granholm stated at the International Atomic Energy Agency conference that under the protection of the US military, the seven-day rolling average of crude oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz continues to rise. This upward trend is expected to persist, and energy transport capacity through the strait is steadily recovering. (2) She revised previous shipping data, noting that on September 1, the single-day peak for crude oil transportation through the strait approached 18 million barrels, reaching a new high since the recent conflict began, and traffic activity in the channel has increased significantly. (3) Granholm also clarified that Saudi Arabia currently has no plans to advance uranium enrichment, controllable risks are associated with nuclear activities in relevant regions, and this has, to some extent, eased market concerns regarding Middle Eastern energy and the nuclear situation.
