TC Energy invests over $1 billion to expand NGTL natural gas pipeline system in Alberta

- The company cited “generational” demand driven by power load growth, industrial development, LNG exports; demand rising faster than infrastructure buildout.
- TC Energy reported more than $15 billion invested in Alberta natural gas transmission expansion over the past decade.
- It said NGTL transports over 75% of Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin natural gas production via a 24,000-kilometer pipeline network.
