The AI boom will significantly boost U.S. natural gas demand

Market forecasts indicate that by 2035, data centers in the United States may require an additional 15 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas, more than doubling the previous estimates from the same institution. Of the additional power supplied to data centers connected to the grid, 69% is expected to come from natural gas, while liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports will further intensify natural gas supply pressures.
