05:34 PM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AptarGroup (ATR) said Monday it signed an agreement for a research collaboration led by Alice Stanton of Massachusetts General Hospital to advance nose-to-brain drug delivery technology. Aptar and its collaborators will develop a research platform combining in vitro, in vivo and computational methods to study the mechanisms and kinetics of transporting drugs from the nose to the brain, targeting treatments for neurological conditions including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and depression, the company said. The work aims to produce a screening tool, consistent with FDA guidance, to help identify compounds suited for nose-to-brain delivery and inform formulation and device design using Aptar's nasal delivery systems, according to the company.
