01:26 PM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Selkirk Copper Mines' (SCMI.V) Minto Project has been included in the 2026 Canada Investment Summit Dealbook, the company said on Tuesday. The Dealbook is a summary of curated investment opportunities across Canada and is aimed at investors attending the inaugural Canada Investment Summit in Toronto today and tomorrow. The Minto project is targeting first production in mid-2028. It is the first publicly traded mining company in Canada where a majority equity stake is held by a First Nation, the Selkirk First Nation. "Having the Minto Project included in the Dealbook is a testament to the foresight of the Selkirk First Nation in acquiring the former producing copper-gold-silver mine," said Chief Executive Officer Colin Joudrie. "It also reflects the work of the Selkirk Copper team and early investors, who have rapidly positioned the asset for a potential restart in mid-2028." Selkirk Copper shares were last seen down CA$0.02 at CA$1.61 on the TSX Venture Exchange. Price: 1.60, Change: -0.03, Percent Change: -1.84
