Bitget2026/09/21 11:32- Great Pacific Gold reported maiden drilling at Kasie Ridge on Papua New Guinea’s Wild Dog Project, confirming a large magmatic-hydrothermal alteration system.
- Two holes totaling 942 m intersected correlated silica-rich advanced argillic alteration 315 m apart; the system remains open at depth.
- KAS-02 returned eight gold-bearing samples at 0.20-1.55 g/t across two structural zones; KAS-01A showed a silver halo up to 22.4 g/t.
- KAS-01A ended in the strongest sulphide-rich alteration, with downhole increases in key pathfinders; visible chalcopyrite appeared below about 480 m.
- Follow-up mapping and drainage sampling started to rank targets for potential additional drilling; assays from other Wild Dog targets remain pending.
