A2Gold Says Assay Results From Eastside Project in Nevada Support Mineralization Model

11:43 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A2Gold (AUAU.V) said Monday that assay results from diamond drilling at the Eastside Gold-Silver Project in Nevada support its emerging model for higher-grade gold mineralization there. The company intersected 141.10 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 0.9 meters from 75.9 meters downhole at Castle target, which is the highest-grade gold assay reported to date from the Eastside Project, a statement said. "These results are important because they begin to change the way we think about Castle," said A2Gold Chief Executive Officer Peter Gianulis. "Castle has historically been viewed primarily as a large, near-surface, lower-grade mineralized system. Our current exploration strategy is increasingly focused on identifying the structural controls that may host materially higher-grade gold within that broader system," Gianulis added.
