West Pharmaceutical Poised to See EPS Upside to Current 2027 Wall Street Estimates, Morgan Stanley Says

11:07 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- West Pharmaceutical Services (WST) could see earnings per share upside of at least 10% to current Wall Street estimates for 2027, based on a bull case scenario, Morgan Stanley said in a Tuesday note. The company's GLP-1 growth remains durable, with demand from non GLP-1 categories accelerating, the analysts said, adding that they have been impressed by the company's capital allocation choices as well as portfolio refinement. Morgan Stanley also said that while moving patients to multi-dose pens from single-use auto-injector is "poorer economically" for the company, the more complex next generation GLP-1 formulations could drive adoption of the company's premium elastomer products. Building on this, Morgan Stanley's base case implies about $105 million of incremental revenue in 2030, amounting to a 60-basis-point benefit to revenue compound annual growth rate, largely offsetting the device mix pressure, according to the note.
