Volatus Aerospace Completes Initial Flight Testing of V-Cortex

The company said the testing demonstrated "GNSS-denied navigation without reliance on external sensors, using onboard default sensors to maintain flight". The company plans additional flight testing and capability demonstrations throughout 2026, said Volatus. "Successfully navigating without GPS or external sensors is a major technical milestone that validates our approach to resilient autonomy," said Chief Executive Officer Glen Lynch.
