Teradyne, GS Microelectronics Enter Partnership to Establish Testing Facility

01:36 PM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Teradyne (TER) entered a multi-year partnership with GS Microelectronics to develop a semiconductor testing center to accelerate engineering support for clients building devices across AI, automotive, power management, and silicon photonics, the provider of semiconductor services said in a Tuesday statement. Under the deal, GS Microelectronics will deploy Teradyne's automated test platforms within a dedicated facility, expected to be inaugurated in Q4, to support device evaluation, pilot production, and technical training, according to the statement. The companies will also partner through joint sales engagements, target account development, technical workshops, and client briefings, according to GS Microelectronics.
