Greenback Rises Against The Canadian Dollar to Its Highest Level Since Late July

The US dollar was last seen up 0.39% to CA$1.4082. US 10-year treasury yields rose slightly to 4.974%. Comex gold futures for December edged down 0.2% to $4,375.20 per ounce. Oil prices were mixed Tuesday afternoon. US President Trump told the United Nations General Assembly today that Iran will likely make a deal when the US midterm elections in November are over, CNBC noted. West Texas Intermediate October futures benchmark rose 1% to $96.70 per barrel. November Brent crude futures edged down 0.5% to $99.87 per barrel.
