Tesla FSD Flagged for Speeding, Unsafe Maneuvers in Independent Brussels Test

06:01 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) Full Self-Driving system regularly failed to comply with speed limits and attempted to overtake cyclists where prohibited, Belgium-based road-safety advocacy group Johanna.be said Thursday. An independent study published by Johanna.be found that Tesla's automated driving system exceeded the legal speed limit in 55% of the tested 30-kilometer-per-hour segments in Brussels-Capital Region and displayed incorrect speed-limit information to supervising drivers. Johanna.be submitted the report to Dutch and Belgian authorities on Sept. 7, it said. A vote on European approval of Tesla FSD is due on Oct. 6. Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
