06:16 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Quarterhill's (QTRH.TO) proprietary multilane intersection radar has achieved registration required for traffic signal detection technology deployed in the UK, the company said Thursday. The TOPAS 2505B registration builds on Quarterhill's presence in the U.K. market and extends the company's technologies into intersection detection. The technology provides transport authorities with an above-ground alternative to traditional inductive loop detection for complex, multilane intersections and helps reduce roadwork, installation costs and traffic disruption associated with in-road sensors.
