Sector Update: Tech Stocks Fall Premarket Thursday

09:12 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were falling premarket Thursday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) declining by 1.3% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 1.6% lower. TD Synnex (SNX) stock was down more than 9% even after the company posted higher fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings and revenue. Ericsson (ERIC) and Saab have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore integrating terrestrial and space-based communications to support future defense, security and "societal resilience," Saab said. Shares of Ericsson were down more than 2% pre-bell. BlackBerry (BB) shares were down more than 1% even after the company reported higher fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue in addition to lifting its fiscal 2027 outlook.
