Brent crude oil futures main contract just hit the $106.00/barrel mark, now quoted at $106.00/barrel, up 2.49% on the day; Nymex US crude oil futures main contract just broke through the $95.00/barrel level, now quoted at $94.98/barrel, up 3.06% on the day; US unleaded gasoline futures main contract just broke through the $3.3800/gallon mark, now quoted at $3.3794/gallon, up 1.17% on the day.

Anthropic has signed a seven-year, $11.6 billion computing power contract with Akamai, marking the largest order in Akamai's history. Akamai will provide CPU computing power, with related capital expenditures expected to be approximately $5.5 billion. Revenue from this business is projected to reach $150 million to $300 million next year. As a significant part of the transaction, Akamai issued warrants to Anthropic, allowing it to purchase Series B shares that can be converted into common stock.
