Atlas Energy Solutions unit signs USD 340.5 million balance-of-plant equipment deal with Wyoming Machinery Co
Bitget2026/09/24 21:23- Atlas Energy Solutions unit Shackelford 1 signed a purchase agreement with Wyoming Machinery for balance-of-plant equipment priced at about USD 340.5 million.
- Equipment is scheduled to be available for shipment from June 2027 through December 2027; payments run from September 2026 through May 2027.
- Separately, Shackelford 1 signed a generator purchase agreement with Wyoming Machinery for about 328 MW of generation equipment priced at about USD 273 million.
- Generator equipment is scheduled to be ready to ship from April 2027 through February 2028; payments run from September 2026 through January 2028.
- Generator deal is expected to satisfy part of ProjectCo’s purchase obligation under its previously announced Global Framework Agreement with Caterpillar.

According to data from the US Department of the Treasury, in the 12 months ending July this year, overseas investors made net purchases of US stocks totaling $942 billion, marking the highest rolling 12-month total since records began in 1985. The net purchases in the second quarter alone reached $426 billion, setting a new single-quarter record. Meanwhile, overseas demand for US Treasuries has noticeably cooled, with purchase volumes falling significantly. As a result, the US is facing higher costs in government debt financing.
