ExxonMobil and Azerbaijan Sign Shale Oil and Gas Cooperation Agreement

ExxonMobil and Azerbaijan have officially signed a shale oil and gas cooperation agreement for the central Kura Basin. This cooperation will promote in-depth collaboration between the two parties in the fields of shale oil and gas resource exploration and development, and will also help Azerbaijan further tap into the potential of its domestic unconventional oil and gas resources and optimize the structure of its energy industry.
