Crypto investment products recorded $3.55 billion in weekly inflows, marking their highest weekly total of 2026 to date. CoinShares, a leading digital asset investment manager based in Europe, stated that nearly all these inflows originated from US-based funds, reflecting renewed demand following weeks of minimal activity.

US dominates global inflows
CoinShares reported that US-based products accounted for approximately $3.434 billion of worldwide inflows, representing nearly 97% of the total. Germany followed distantly with $73.9 million, while Canada and Switzerland recorded $21.8 million and $20.9 million, respectively. The bulk of investment centered in the United States underscored the importance of American institutional activity.
Total assets under management for digital asset investment products reached $173 billion globally. Year-to-date inflows stood at $8.6 billion as of the week ending September 29.

Bitcoin and altcoins attract fresh capital
Bitcoin products played a dominant role, collecting $2.52 billion in inflows for the week. The flagship cryptocurrency recovered from levels below $75,000 and climbed above $83,000 during the reporting period. Ethereum-focused investment products also attracted robust interest, adding $702 million in inflows. Solana products drew $193 million, while XRP funds received $92.3 million.
With nearly all weekly inflows allocated to US-based products, CoinShares described the trend as clear evidence that institutional interest has strengthened following recent macroeconomic volatility.
CoinShares associated the rebound with improved investor confidence after two weeks of subdued activity. Investors reportedly responded to reduced uncertainty regarding US monetary policy after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points, bringing the target range to 3.75% to 4.00% on September 16.

Spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs see steady inflows
US-listed spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continued to draw sustained capital throughout the week. Spot Bitcoin ETFs received $2.39 billion, while Ether ETFs added $690 million in new money. Both product groups recorded inflows on every trading day of the week, although momentum slowed after Friday.
On the following Monday, net flows declined significantly, with Bitcoin ETFs collecting $31 million and Ether ETFs $17 million. Despite a temporary surge, broader market momentum tapered off as the week progressed, particularly after Bitcoin touched $87,000 on September 23 before retreating toward $84,000.
Market analysts stated that rising US Treasury yields and a stronger dollar could continue to influence crypto fund inflows as investors monitor the prospect of additional interest rate hikes.
With total assets under management rising to $173 billion, several major crypto investment products reported their busiest week of inflows in 2026 so far, led by Bitcoin and Ethereum.
