Russian Ministry of Finance: Significant Increase in Foreign Exchange and Gold Purchases On October 5, local time, the Russian Ministry of Finance announced it will raise the volume of foreign exchange and gold purchases from October 7 to November 6 to five times that of September, allocating 279.42 billion rubles for this purpose, with an average daily purchase amount of approximately 12.7 billion rubles. The purchases are conducted according to budget regulations, aiming to incorporate additional oil and gas revenues into the National Welfare Fund. (CCTV News)
