Jane Dunlevie appointed as Co-Head of TMT Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs (GS.US)

According to reports, Jane Dunlevie, a star investment banker who became a Goldman Sachs partner at age 35, has been appointed as Co-Head of TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) Investment Banking, according to an internal Goldman Sachs memo.

Jitong Finance APP has learned that, according to reports and an internal memo from Goldman Sachs (GS.US), Jane Dunlevie, a 35-year-old who was promoted to partner at Goldman Sachs and is a star investment banker, has been appointed Co-Head of TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) Investment Banking.

Dunlevie previously served as COO of TMT Investment Banking and Head of Investment Banking Services. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 after graduating from Stanford University, was promoted to partner in 2020 at the age of 35, and earlier served as Co-Head of Global Internet Investment Banking. According to The Information, she has participated in projects including OpenAI, Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, Pinterest, Etsy, eBay, Uber, and Instacart.

Currently, Goldman Sachs TMT Investment Banking is co-headed globally by partner Jung Min and partner Barry O'Brien, and has three major business divisions:

Global Infrastructure Tech, which will be formed in December 2025 through the merger of the telecom team and the CoreTech team, and will be jointly led by partner Yasmine Coupal and partner Jason Tofsky. Partner Kyle Jessen will oversee M&A for Infrastructure Tech and will continue to cover semiconductor clients.

Global Internet & Media, which is jointly led by partner Brandon Watkins and Managing Director Alekhya Uppalapati.

Global Software Investment Banking, which is co-headed by partner Brian Cayne and London-based partner Joe Porter.
