October 14, Qualcomm issued a statement saying that the jury determined that Arm breached its long-term architecture license agreement (ALA), failed to fulfill its commitments, and deliberately took actions to disrupt Qualcomm's business. The company expressed satisfaction with the verdict. On October 13 local time, Arm stated in a release that it was pleased with the jury's decision, which supported Arm in four claims and awarded only $1 for each of the additional two claims made by Qualcomm. Previously, on September 30 local time, Qualcomm announced that a judge in the U.S. District Court in Delaware ruled in favor of all of Qualcomm's claims in the lawsuit filed by Arm, rejected Arm's attempts, and confirmed that neither Qualcomm nor its subsidiary Nuvia violated the license agreement signed between Nuvia and Arm.
