Correction: Indonesian regulators fined entities for stock trading violations involving three listed companies
路透社2026/10/16 10:08The regulator clarified that the fines targeted entities involved in trading the stocks of the three companies, rather than the companies themselves; the report has been corrected accordingly.
Reuters Bangkok, October 16 - Indonesia's financial regulator said on Friday that the stock exchange and the regulator had imposed penalties on the actual controllers of three companies as well as some entities involved in trading their stocks.
The regulator said the fines were issued for violations related to trading in shares of Barito Renewables Energy (BREN.JK), Dian Swastatika Sentosa (DSSA.JK), and Petrindo Jaya (CUAN.JK). The agency clarified previous suggestions that the companies themselves had been fined and stated that this was not the case.
An official said that these penalties are part of Indonesia's market reforms.
