ONDO Falls Below $0.43 as Crypto Liquidations Near $1 Billion

  • ONDO fell below $0.43 after market-wide liquidations approached $1 billion.
  • The $0.42 support zone remains critical for short-term price direction.
  • Ondo’s business growth continues, with total value locked surpassing $4 billion.

ONDO has entered a crucial period after a broad crypto market selloff pushed prices lower. The token recently slipped below $0.43, raising concerns among traders watching key support levels. While many altcoins faced pressure, Ondo’s decline appears tied more to market conditions than project-specific issues. A massive wave of liquidations across crypto accelerated the downturn. Investors now face an important question: can ONDO hold support and regain momentum?

Market Selloff Pushes ONDO Into Key Support Area

ONDO traded around $0.429 on Oct. 15 after another difficult session. The token opened near $0.445 and briefly climbed toward $0.447. Selling pressure soon returned and pushed the price down to approximately $0.423 before a modest recovery. The daily decline reached roughly 3.7%. Current levels sit well below the late September high near $0.60. Despite the weakness, no major negative developments have surfaced around the project.

Instead, broader market conditions appear responsible for the drop. Stronger-than-expected U.S. inflation data encouraged a risk-off mood among investors. Many traders reduced exposure across digital assets as uncertainty increased. Technical charts show ONDO returning to a familiar zone between $0.42 and $0.48. Earlier this year, that area repeatedly acted as resistance. Bulls now need to prove that former resistance can become reliable support.

Momentum indicators suggest caution. The daily RSI stands near 42, below neutral territory. However, the reading remains above oversold conditions. The MACD also points toward weakening momentum, reflecting recent selling activity. If buyers lose control of the $0.42 region, attention could shift toward $0.40. Further weakness may bring the rising trendline near $0.35 to $0.37 into focus. On the upside, ONDO must first recover the $0.45 to $0.48 range before targeting $0.50.

Ondo Continues Expanding Despite Market Pressure

Recent liquidations intensified selling throughout the crypto market. Total liquidations reached about $959 million within 24 hours. Long positions accounted for nearly $880 million of that figure. Shorter timeframes showed similar stress. Nearly $522 million in positions disappeared within four hours. Most losses came from traders betting on higher prices.

Smaller altcoins often react strongly during these events. As major assets fall, investors frequently cut positions across the market. ONDO experienced that pressure alongside many other tokens. Despite price weakness, Ondo continues to expand business operations. Earlier this month, the company launched Ondo Private Markets. The platform gives eligible investors round-the-clock access to private company exposure.

Another important milestone arrived through Oasis Pro Markets. That subsidiary joined DTCC’s Fund/SERV network. The system processes most U.S. mutual fund transactions, connecting Ondo to established financial infrastructure. Growth remains visible across the ecosystem. Total value locked now exceeds $4 billion. Assets within Ondo Global Markets have also surpassed $1 billion.
