Uniswap v4 Monthly Volume Tops $44B: Will UNI Follow With a Rally?

  • Uniswap v4 Surpassed $44 billion in 30-day trading volume, representing 49.9% of volume across Uniswap versions.
  • Buyers defended $6.80 support, while bullish momentum improved above key exponential moving averages.
  • A $11 target remains possible, but crowded long positions and weak demand threaten recovery.

Uniswap is showing fresh signs of strength as trading activity across the protocol continues to grow. The latest v4 version has processed more than $44 billion in monthly volume. Meanwhile, UNI buyers have defended a key $6.80 support zone, raising hopes for recovery. Technical signals also suggest improving momentum after recent weakness. However, stronger buying demand must support the rebound. Traders are now watching whether UNI can sustain gains and approach $11.

Uniswap Buyers Defend $6.80 as Recovery Gains Momentum

UNI recently bounced from the $6.80 daily demand zone, where buyers stepped in. The rebound triggered a bullish shift on the hourly chart. This move followed a recovery setup highlighted in earlier market analysis. Buyers have now challenged the recent bearish pattern, suggesting short-term momentum may be improving. The technical picture also offers reasons for cautious optimism. UNI trades above the 20-day, 30-day, and 50-day Exponential Moving Averages.

These technical indicators suggest buyers have regained some control over price action. However, one bullish hourly move cannot confirm a lasting trend reversal. UNI needs sustained demand to protect recent gains and strengthen the recovery. Derivatives positioning presents another important factor. Long positions account for approximately 63% of tracked market positioning. This figure shows that traders currently favor further upside.

If spot demand strengthens, UNI could benefit from additional buying pressure. However, crowded long positions can become a risk during sudden market reversals. A decline could force leveraged traders to close positions. Such liquidations may accelerate selling and weaken the recovery. Therefore, traders should watch whether UNI holds above $6.80. A sustained rebound would support the bullish setup. Losing that zone could shift attention toward renewed downside risks.

Can Uniswap v4’s $44B Volume Push UNI Toward $11?

Uniswap v4 has processed more than $44 billion in trading volume over 30 days. That figure represents approximately 49.9% of volume across Uniswap versions. The milestone highlights strong activity across the latest protocol generation. However, higher protocol volume does not automatically translate into greater demand for UNI tokens.

Trading volume measures swaps involving supported assets across the protocol. UNI price movements also depend on market sentiment, liquidity, and token demand. Therefore, traders should assess protocol growth alongside broader market conditions. Strong usage provides encouraging context, but buyers must still defend important technical levels.

The liquidation heatmap identifies another level worth watching. Approximately $535.10 million in liquidation liquidity sits around $11. This cluster makes $11 a potential upside target if bullish momentum continues. However, liquidation clusters do not guarantee future price movements. UNI must attract sustained buying interest before reaching that level.

Barclays: Dual restrictions of physical and capital, data center growth will slow significantly in 2027!

Barclays' latest report reveals that the global data center construction boom is approaching a turning point—the year-on-year growth rate of new capacity will plummet from over 100% in 2026 to about 35% in 2027, and stabilize by 2028. Facing both physical constraints and tightened financing, hyperscale cloud providers will absorb more than 60% of new capacity, while the risk of project suspension for small and medium developers will sharply increase.

AI Capital Flow Chart: Nvidia Takes 690 Billion, Remaining 499 Companies Share 340 Billion

Morgan Stanley has released its first comprehensive overview of AI capital expenditure: In 2027, among $1.58 trillion in spending by hyperscale cloud service providers, Nvidia alone will take 67%, while the remaining 499 S&P component companies will collectively receive only $339 billion. A more hidden risk lies in over $1.1 trillion of "off-balance-sheet leases," which are essentially disguised debt. 2027 is predicted to have the largest free cash flow shortfall, and the risks of both volume and price declines are being severely underestimated by the market.
