Veteran Investor Sets Timeline for XRP Price to Hit All-Time High
No More Roadblocks
Digital Asset Investor opened by recounting every major industry crisis he has witnessed, ranging from Mt. Gox, FTX, the SEC lawsuit against Ripple, the Luna collapse, and Operation Chokepoint. He said each event came with obstacles that nobody could have predicted. His position now is that all of those obstacles are gone.
He said conversations he had with Ripple staff at the Evernorth listing on Nasdaq reinforced that view. “We don’t have any more roadblocks. We don’t have any more regulatory issues. There’s nothing in front of us,” he relayed from those conversations. The only question remaining, he argued, is how fast adoption moves.
The Attack Narrative
Digital Asset Investor played a clip of Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and President Monica Long discussing the years of external pressure on the company.
Garlinghouse connected the hostility toward Ripple to figures including former SEC Chair Gary Gensler and his ties to the MIT Media Lab. “They were afraid of us because the technology was ahead of its time and it was a threat,” Garlinghouse said.
Digital Asset Investor pushed back against a Bitcoin maximalist who argued XRP has done nothing since 2018. He pointed out that XRP is the only asset on CoinDesk’s list of tokens yet to surpass prior highs that faced a five-year SEC enforcement action. He also claimed, without citing a specific source, that XRP had briefly overtaken Ethereum in market cap around 2018 before industry opposition intensified.
Institutional Signals
Digital Asset Investor highlighted comments from Sandy Kaul of Franklin Templeton, who said crypto exposure will become a standard portfolio requirement. “As more of the world’s economy is being rebuilt on crypto rails, people are going to need that exposure in their portfolio,” Kaul said.
He also cited investor Arthur Hayes, who said AI agents would make whichever network they adopt the most valuable network ever built. Digital Asset Investor said the XRP Ledger would be among those networks.
DTCC Launch
Digital Asset Investor closed with audio from a speaker who said the DTCC’s tokenization service is set to launch on October 28. The speaker described Citadel as among the participants preparing for that date. Digital Asset Investor told viewers to get ready.
