Analyst Presents XRP Trajectory Over the Coming Months
The chart captures one completed cycle and one that is actively developing. Schmidt believes the current moment in that second cycle is critical for what comes next.
Breaking Down the AMD Pattern
The pattern Schmidt identifies is AMD: Accumulation, Manipulation, Distribution. The chart shows one full completed cycle on the left, with a second now in progress.
During the first cycle, XRP consolidated between roughly $1 and $1.20 through July and early August. That was the Accumulation phase. The asset then dropped below $1 as it entered the Manipulation phase, before a strong vertical move launched it to $1.68. That move was the Distribution.
The second cycle began immediately after. XRP consolidated again between approximately $1.40 and $1.55 through late September into mid-October. That was the second Accumulation phase. The asset’s price has since pulled back to $1.3049, sitting below that consolidation range. This is the active Manipulation phase.
Schmidt’s Expectation for XRP
Schmidt emphasized that the manipulation phase is happening “right now.” She is clear about what follows. In her post she writes that this “means one thing… distribution is coming next.”
The Distribution box visible on the right side of the chart is a projection. It targets a move toward $2.20-$2.30, which would represent a significantly larger climb than the first cycle. Schmidt states that “XRP is set to reach great heights during this cycle.”
The current price of $1.3049 sits inside the dark red Manipulation box of cycle two. This mirrors exactly where price was in cycle one before the breakout occurred. In cycle one, the Manipulation phase was brief. The digital asset’s price dipped below the Accumulation range, then reversed sharply into Distribution.
XRP’s Position in the Cycle
Schmidt’s analysis positions XRP at a well-defined point in a repeating structure. One full AMD cycle has completed. The second is in its Manipulation phase now, with Distribution still ahead.
Each phase in cycle one preceded the next with little delay. The projected Distribution target of $2.20-$2.30 sits meaningfully above cycle one’s peak. If the pattern holds, the next major move could catch many market participants off guard.
