Utexo Mint open beta: Get early access to USD₮ on the bitcoin blockchain

Utexo has opened Utexo Mint, a platform designed specifically for professional operators preparing to support Utexo’s Bitcoin cross-chain version of USD₮. Prior to the scheduled public launch on November 28, related testing is already underway on the Bitcoin Signet testnet.
By recreating USD₮ as a cross-chain token through Utexo, an opportunity is created to introduce US dollar liquidity into the Bitcoin ecosystem, opening new markets for trading and BTC-collateralized lending. Early integrated operators can be the first to offer this service at launch, capturing initial demand and expanding their market share as adoption grows.
Starting now, Utexo is accepting applications for access, welcoming exchanges, wallets, market makers, OTC desks, trading institutions, and other professional operators to participate in the formal launch plan in November.
A Month of Preparation
Utexo Mint is a dedicated platform for verified operators to mint and redeem Utexo cross-chain USD₮ on the Bitcoin network.
Within the sandbox environment of Bitcoin Signet, operators can test minting, privacy transfers, and redemption via the RGB protocol. RGB is the protocol Utexo uses to issue and transfer assets on the Bitcoin network. This testing period gives operators ample time to validate their transaction workflows and complete final integration before the official launch.
Utexo will also provide various tools for managing liquidity across supported networks, and for enabling mutual exchange between fiat and Utexo’s bridged USDT, offering operators greater flexibility in raising and allocating funds.
Utexo will also offer relevant tools for managing liquidity across supported networks, and for converting between fiat and Utexo’s cross-chain USD₮, giving operators greater flexibility in sourcing and allocating capital.
USD₮ Returns to the Bitcoin Network
USD₮ was first introduced on the Bitcoin network in 2014 and now returns to the Bitcoin ecosystem through Utexo’s cross-chain version, bringing deep stablecoin liquidity and expanding the scope of enterprise operations on the network.
Utexo’s cross-chain USD₮ features a native privacy design, allowing individuals to hold and transfer funds without publicly revealing transaction details. Enterprises can maintain the necessary control required for compliance while protecting sensitive business activity.
This launch will be carried out in two phases:
- The first phase will begin on November 28, with the mainnet launch of Bitcoin via partner wallets and exchanges, introducing liquidity for Swap providers and lending platforms.
- The second phase is planned for the first quarter of 2027, expanding Utexo’s cross-chain USD₮ to the Lightning Network, enabling near-instant payments.
Join the Launch
Utexo has begun accepting applications from professional operators interested in participating in the public launch.
Applications are open for demo access to Utexo Mint to start the onboarding process. Approved operators will gain access to the sandbox environment and can collaborate with partners who are preparing for launch to advance integration.
About Utexo
