Jitong Finance APP has learned that Applied Materials (AMAT.US) has increased its holdings in peer chip equipment manufacturer BE Semiconductor Industries NV (Besi), and has pledged to strengthen cooperation between the two parties, further deepening their partnership in advanced chip packaging technologies used in artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
