Teradyne launches UltraFLEXplus S series edge AI testing platform

Global automated test equipment and robotics supplier Teradyne (NASDAQ:TER) recently announced the launch of the UltraFLEXplus S Series. This series of test platforms is an expanded version of the UltraFLEXplus platform, specifically designed for semiconductor manufacturing needs in edge AI applications. It aims to adapt to multi-category, variable-batch production models while maximizing output per unit area and operational efficiency. The first model, UltraFLEXplus S24, is a 24-slot system that accommodates both engineering development and mass production scenarios, addressing the economic requirements most valued by Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs) and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) providers.
