Dash Price Prediction: Dash Gains 9% Weekly, but Weak Momentum Threatens Its Recovery

Dash (DASH) has extended its recovery, gaining 7.22% over 24 hours and 9.30% over the past week. The cryptocurrency trades near $54.72, with daily trading volume reaching $73.17 million. Its market capitalization stands at approximately $704.78 million, supported by a circulating supply of 13 million tokens. However, the latest rally faces a crucial test as DASH approaches resistance around $55.76.

DASH continues to recover after retreating from the $70 region, but its daily chart still reflects broader bearish pressure. The token trades above its 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) near $52.44. Additionally, it holds above the 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level at $54.11.

However, DASH remains below its 20-day EMA at $55.76, limiting the strength of its recovery. This level represents the immediate resistance that buyers must overcome to improve short-term sentiment.

A sustained breakout above $55.76 could open the path toward $59.93. Beyond that level, resistance near $68.20 could become relevant if buying momentum strengthens.

Conversely, a decline below $54.11 would weaken the recovery structure. Hence, traders may watch $52.44 as the next support level, followed by the stronger $48.30 zone.

The Bollinger Bands %B indicator stands near 0.11, placing DASH close to its lower band. This reading reflects continued downward pressure, although it also leaves room for a technical rebound.

DASH derivatives activity offers another perspective on the market’s direction. Open interest surged during an earlier price rally, approaching $190 million as speculative participation increased.

However, subsequent price declines triggered substantial position reductions. Open interest briefly recovered above $140 million during recent trading sessions before falling again.

Current open interest stands near $70.91 million, while one accompanying market reading places DASH around $53.47. This divergence in reported prices reflects different observation points across the supplied datasets.

DASH spot exchange flows also provide clues about potential price pressure. Earlier in the year, substantial outflows emerged, with January withdrawals approaching $10 million.

Such movements can indicate accumulation when investors transfer tokens away from exchanges. However, outflows alone cannot confirm buying intentions or guarantee future price appreciation.

September brought a notable increase in exchange inflows as DASH experienced a rally. Consequently, the movement raised the possibility of increased selling activity as tokens reached trading platforms.

October has since delivered more balanced flows, although occasional positive spikes indicate continued market activity. The latest reported netflow reached approximately $840,850, with DASH trading near $54.84.

Key levels remain well-defined as DASH attempts to recover from its retreat from $70.

Upside levels: $55.76 is the immediate resistance, followed by $59.93 and $68.20. A sustained breakout above these levels could strengthen bullish momentum.

Downside levels: $54.11 serves as initial support, followed by the 50-day EMA near $52.44 and stronger support at $48.30.

Resistance ceiling: The 20-day EMA at $55.76 remains the key level DASH must reclaim to improve its short-term outlook. The technical picture shows a potential recovery, but the low Bollinger %B reading near 0.11 highlights continued selling pressure.

Dash’s price prediction hinges on whether buyers can defend the $54.11 support level and break above $55.76. A decisive move above this resistance could open the way toward $59.93, with $68.20 becoming a more ambitious target if buying pressure strengthens. However, failure to hold $54.11 could expose DASH to $52.44 and potentially $48.30.

Additionally, declining open interest near $70.91 million suggests weaker speculative participation, while positive spot netflows of approximately $840,850 indicate renewed exchange activity and possible selling pressure.

Consequently, DASH needs stronger buying volume and improving market participation to sustain its recovery. For now, DASH remains at a pivotal level, with a breakout above $55.76 or a breakdown below $54.11 likely to shape its next move.

"We've seen this pattern before!" Major short seller explains: Why short the AI newcomer CoreWeave

Seawolf Capital, founded by three traders who inspired "The Big Short," has established a short position on CoreWeave, citing concerns over high capital consumption, the uncertain economic lifespan of GPUs, and the expansion of competing chip supplies, which pose risks to CoreWeave’s business model. More critically, CoreWeave will require continuous financing of tens of billions of dollars in the future, and if financing costs rise or access to capital is hindered, its operations will become unsustainable. This short position is not a bet against the AI industry itself, but rather on CoreWeave’s ability to secure financing and manage capital costs.
