Putin: Member states of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum hold 70% of global gas reserves and account for about 40% of exports

(1) Russian President Putin stated that the member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum collectively account for 70% of global natural gas reserves. (2) In his address to the participants of the forum summit, Putin said that all member countries have made significant contributions to ensuring world energy security and promoting balanced international and regional development. (3) Putin pointed out that the forum member countries account for about 40% of global natural gas exports.
