01:13 PM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis (STLA) reaffirmed its full-year revenue guidance after reporting stronger-than-expected top-line for the third quarter, sending the company's shares surging Wednesday. For 2026, the automaker continues to expect net revenue to grow by a mid-single-digit percentage. Analysts in a FactSet survey are looking for 5.7% year-over-year growth. Stellantis also continues to expect positive industrial free cash flows next year. For the September quarter, net revenue rose 1% year over year to 37.61 billion euros ($41.91 billion), topping Wall Street's views for 36.32 billion euros. Adjusted loss narrowed to 0.01 euro a share from 0.04 euro a year earlier, while three analysts expected a loss of 0.09 euro. The company's New York Stock Exchange-listed shares were up 16% in afternoon trade. The stock has fallen 56% so far this year. Stellantis attributed the improvement in net revenue to higher volumes in enlarged Europe and stable volumes and favorable foreign exchange in South America. "The (Europe) region remains challenging, with ongoing Chinese competition and a difficult pricing environment," Chief Executive Antonio Filosa said on an earnings conference call, according to a FactSet transcript. "Despite this, we continued to grow in the region with stronger demand for the Smart Car platform nameplates and surging demand for (battery electric vehicles) particularity in France, Germany, and the UK." Lower volumes weighed on North America, Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific net revenue in the third quarter, the company said. "During the quarter, we continued to make progress in the early execution of our FaSTLAne 2030 plan, launching new products, accelerating partnerships as planned, and delivering meaningful improvements in manufacturing and quality," Filosa said in a statement. "We remain on track to implement at least 40% of the total 6 billion euros in run-rate efficiencies by the end of this year." The company is looking at more than 2.4 billion euros in cost savings next year, Filosa said on the call. "We will launch a very significant new Jeep product offensive," Filosa told analysts. "The new Jeep Grand Cherokee will be launched in second half of 2027, as well as the new Jeep Gladiator, the new Jeep of Wrangler." Earlier this month, electric vehicle maker Tesla (TSLA) reported better-than-expected third-quarter adjusted earnings, while revenue slipped due to weakness in the automotive and energy generation divisions. General Motors (GM) narrowed its 2026 profit guidance and posted a third-quarter beat. Price: 4.81, Change: +0.67, Percent Change: +16.06
