The Ministry of Commerce has announced the total export quotas for goods for 2027. In 2027, the export quotas for licorice and licorice products, cultivated Ephedra for medicinal use, live pigs (to Hong Kong and Macau), live cattle (to Hong Kong and Macau), live chickens (to Hong Kong), sawn timber, mat rush and mat rush products will be 5.2 million kilograms, 1.0804 million kilograms, 160,540 heads, 22,000 heads, 3 million birds, 150,000 cubic meters, and 14 million kilograms respectively. In 2027, quota management for phosphorite and silver exports will continue to be suspended and export license management will be implemented instead. Eligible foreign trade operators who export phosphorite or silver can apply for export licenses with valid export contracts (export of silver under processing trade shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations), and customs procedures for the export and release of goods can be carried out upon presentation of the export license.
