US Natural Gas Stocks Posts Larger Increase Than Expected in Week Ended Oct. 23

10:34 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- US natural gas stocks rose by 80 billion cubic feet in the week ended Oct. 23, larger than the 72 billion cubic foot increase expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg and following an increase of 77 billion cubic feet in the previous week. Stocks at 3.724 trillion cubic feet are 3.8% lower than in the comparable week a year ago but 1% above their 5-year average.
