1inch blocks addresses linked to a certain exchange attacker, but 1INCH tokens cannot be frozen
Foresight News reports that 1inch has tweeted it is aware of a recent hack on an exchange and is in contact with the exchange team to provide support. Its risk management team, in collaboration with ZeroShadow, SEAL 911, TRM Labs, and others, blocked the attacker-related addresses from the 1inch DApp, 1inch Wallet and 1inch API within one hour of the incident, and continues to add newly identified addresses, sharing them with aggregators and partners. Some of the stolen assets include 1INCH tokens. Since 1INCH is a standard ERC-20 token, which does not support freezing or blacklisting, no one can freeze the stolen tokens.
