US official: Has reached out to Iran for talks, consulting with multiple countries about the situation

According to CCTV News, on November 1, at the 22nd Manama Dialogue held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, Donald Blome, US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, stated that the US has extended a “hand of negotiation” to Iran but is also prepared to take other countermeasures; he added that the US is currently consulting with allies in the region.

At the conference, UAE Presidential Advisor Anwar Gargash emphasized that the Gulf countries prefer to resolve this long-standing crisis through diplomatic and political channels, and warned that the region is being drawn into this conflict. He also indicated that the positions of the US and Iran remain far apart and, if their differences cannot be bridged, regional countries must be concerned about the worst-case scenario. He called for diplomatic breakthroughs to prevent escalation.

Iran warns US of devastating retaliation if war occurs again

According to CCTV International News, on November 1, Iranian military spokesman Akraminia stated,

if the US initiates war again, it will “immediately suffer a devastating retaliation”, with a scale far beyond previous incidents.
