A Merkle Tree is used to efficiently verify data integrity. Each underlying Acct node represents an account. The system performs a SHA-256 hash on the account name and balance, then pairs and computes adjacent hash values layer by layer to ultimately generate the Merkle root.

We use open-source tools to verify the wallet addresses holding Bitget's reserves and confirm Bitget's ownership.
The system calculates each user's total assets across all wallets at the time of the snapshot.
The system hashes each user's ID and balance to build the Merkle tree.
