$GRVT Shiba Inu ($SHIB) is trading at $0.00000495 and has dropped below the important $0.000005 mark. The loss of this round level has shifted the short-term mood toward sellers across all three timeframes.
Daily Chart
On the daily chart, $SHIB failed to hold the move to $0.00000625 in late September. That high was rejected near the black 200-day moving average, which sits close to $0.00000560. Since then, the price has fallen through the orange, blue, and cyan averages, all of which now sit between $0.00000526 and $0.00000545. These lines have turned into resistance.
The recent low near $0.00000480 is the primary support, and a close beneath it might open the way to $0.00000440. The RSI is near 40, which is weak but not oversold. Volume has also dropped, so neither side shows strong conviction.
4-Hour Chart
The 4-hour chart shows a clear downtrend. $SHIB has been making lower highs since October 7, and every bounce has stopped below the moving averages. The black line near $0.00000536 and the orange line near $0.00000526 now slope down, which confirms the pressure.
The short green average near $0.00000502 is the closest barrier. The price touched $0.00000480 on October 19 and bounced, but the bounce was weak. The RSI sits near 45, a neutral reading, so a short-term reversal is possible but not confirmed. For buyers, a 4-hour close back above $0.000005 would be the first positive sign.
Weekly Chart
The weekly chart offers the bigger picture, and it remains bearish. $SHIB has been in a prolonged downtrend since early 2025, and all major averages point down. The black line is near $0.0000114, far above the current price.
In July, the token formed a bottom near $0.00000405, and it has moved sideways between $0.00000450 and $0.00000650 since then. This range is the key area to watch. The current weekly candle is red, and the price is again sliding toward the lower part of the range. The RSI is near 45, and weekly volume is very low, which indicates weak interest.
Outlook
For bulls, the primary aim is to reclaim $0.000005 and then $0.00000526. For bears, a break below $0.00000480 could trigger a retest of the July lows. Until $SHIB climbs back above the closest averages, the trend remains down on every timeframe

Crypto Faces Selling Pressure as ETF Outflows and Liquidations Challenge Bullish Expectations
The cryptocurrency market is facing a difficult period as institutional investors pull money out of crypto investment products while leveraged traders suffer heavy losses. Bitcoin is trading around $82,000, Ethereum is near $2,415, and hopes for a strong October rally have yet to turn into a clear recovery.
At the same time, some major investors still expect Bitcoin to return above $100,000. The gap between these expectations and current market conditions raises an important question: what will it take for buyers to regain control?
Institutional Investors Are Pulling Back
Digital asset investment products recorded $434 million in weekly outflows between October 12 and 18. Ethereum investment products accounted for $320 million in withdrawals, more than the combined outflows from Bitcoin, Solana and Hyperliquid products.
Bitcoin recorded $228 million in outflows, while Solana and Hyperliquid saw $25.5 million and $17.5 million leave their investment products, respectively.
These figures show that selling pressure is affecting several major cryptocurrencies, not just Bitcoin. Ethereum's larger outflows also suggest that investors are becoming more cautious about the wider market.
Inflation concerns and expectations of higher interest rates are adding to the pressure. When interest rates rise, traditional investments that pay interest can become more attractive than assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Higher borrowing costs can also reduce the money available for riskier investments.
However, outflows do not mean every institutional investor is selling. They show that money is leaving the investment products being tracked, while other investors may still be buying.
Leveraged Traders Are Feeling the Pressure
The market's weakness is also clear in futures trading. About $192.07 million in leveraged positions across the 20 most-liquidated assets were closed within 24 hours on October 18.
Long positions accounted for $148.06 million, or 77.09% of the total. Short positions made up the remaining $44.01 million.
Ethereum recorded $71.92 million in liquidations, with about 88% coming from long positions. Bitcoin saw $40.22 million in liquidations, although short positions accounted for 57% of its total.
What makes these figures important is that prices did not fall sharply during the same period. Bitcoin remained around $82,000, while Ethereum traded near $2,415.
This suggests that many traders had taken bullish positions using borrowed money. Even relatively small price movements can force these traders out of the market when they cannot maintain the required margin. Their forced exits can then put more pressure on prices.
For the wider market, this may help reduce excessive leverage. However, it also shows that traders expecting an immediate recovery are taking considerable risks.
Long-Term Confidence Has Not Disappeared
Despite the recent selling, some major investors remain optimistic about Bitcoin.
Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor expects Bitcoin to climb above $100,000 again. Mark Yusko of Morgan Creek Capital has also placed Bitcoin's fair value at $105,000, although he expects the move to take time.
Corporate buying is continuing as well. BitMine Immersion Technologies purchased another 12,532 ETH, bringing its combined cryptocurrency holdings, cash and marketable securities to $16.2 billion.
However, the company's buying strategy has a limit. Its chairman, Tom Lee, has said purchases will stop once its Ethereum holdings reach 5% of the token's total supply.
This is important because corporate buying can support demand, but it cannot be assumed to continue at the same pace indefinitely.
Shiba Inu offers another example of why market activity needs to be examined carefully. Its spot flows reportedly jumped by more than 200% over a short period, but the actual net inflow during the highlighted hour was only about $35,000.
Its 24-hour spot volume stood at $6.37 million, compared with $21.99 million in futures volume. SHIB was trading near $0.00000499, down about 1.4% over 24 hours and almost 8% over the week.
The increase in spot flows may look encouraging, but the amount of money involved was too small to confirm a strong return of demand.
What Could Happen Next?
Bitcoin's ability to hold above $80,000 remains important. Other downside levels to watch are $78,000 and $75,000. On the upside, options market activity points to interest between $83,000 and $90,000, although buying interest in that range appears limited.
The Federal Reserve's October 28 meeting could also influence market sentiment as investors assess the outlook for inflation and interest rates.
If inflation concerns ease and investment flows improve, cryptocurrencies could find stronger support. However, continued outflows and weak spot demand could make a recovery harder to sustain.
For now, the market is caught between long-term confidence and short-term selling pressure. The next recovery will need more than optimistic price targets. Stronger spot buying, improving investment flows and a reduction in forced liquidations would provide better evidence that buyers are returning.$BTC $HYPE $SHIB

$YGG Shiba Inu [$SHIB] has been in a correction phase for the last 10 days as its market cap slid back below $3 billion. Despite the total market cap of all memecoins climbing by 2.68%, the daily trading volume was down 29% to around $2.03 billion.
Shiba Inu bulls test support, but bears stay focused
While there has been a broader crypto market resurgence over the past three months, the recovery of the top memecoins has been shallow.
For instance, Shiba Inu surged from a low of around $0.00000410 to a three-month high of $0.00000627. This represented a hike of more than 53%. However, it has since declined by 19%.
At the time of writing, the bears were testing the strength of bulls to keep $SHIB above the slanting support for the fourth time. Similarly, other top memecoins like Dogecoin [$DOGE] were at a demand zone at $0.08, hinting that the sector movement may be in sync.
The bulls seemed to be defending this level, evident from the long tail formed on 15th October daily candle. If $0.0000050 holds, then there is a chance it will bounce back above $0.0000060.
However, the momentum indicators showed that bears were unmoved. The MACD bars were red, and 2.75 billion $SHIB were sold as per the CVD.
$SHIB’s hourly burn rate explodes
As bulls and bears battle for control, signals from both divides appeared to be present. For instance, the hourly burn rate surged by 100% with 61.45 million $SHIB permanently removed in circulation in just one transaction.
However, the rate had reduced by 59% when viewed on a weekly scale. Over the past seven days, 160.5 million tokens have been burned. And yet, despite this routine supply crunch, $SHIB’s price action has not been reflecting it.
So, why is the price still declining?
As it stands, the memecoin is still struggling on the charts. The Exchange Withdrawing Transactions metric seemed to be declining at press time, indicating that there were no capital inflows into $SHIB.
These transactions fell from 522 to 100, a 5x decline in just two days.
Additionally, its daily trading volume was minimal compared to its peers, accounting for $41.25 million. On the other hand, $DOGE, PEPE, and Official Trump [TRUMP] had $715 million, $146 million, and $234 million, respectively.
With a decline in memecoin trading activity, especially for $SHIB, it may lose its slanting support. Otherwise, a hold above $0.000005 accompanied by a sector resurgence would help bulls outweigh bears at the level.

$GRVT Although exchanges still hold a massive supply of Shiba Inu ($SHIB) following the intense sell pressure the market faced recently, the latest exchange activity shows that this supply has begun to shrink.
While recent market data shows that investors are increasingly moving tokens in and out of exchanges, the latest exchange activity shows that selling pressure is fading.
Shiba Inu to recover soon?
Latest onchain data from a crypto analytics platform shows that the Shiba Inu exchange reserves are sitting at about 87.06 trillion $SHIB, following a decline of 0.1% over the past 24 hours.
While this shows that there are still substantial amounts of $SHIB available for sale on exchanges, the decline shows that traders are buying amid renewed interest in the leading meme token.
While the data further projected a negative exchange netflow of 33.94 billion $SHIB, following a decline of 1.25% over the last day, market analysts have predicted that the overall reserve could fall to 86 trillion $SHIB in the near future.
It is important to note that negative netflow means that more tokens left exchanges than entered them during the specified period, providing a bullish outlook for $SHIB despite the slow price movement.
$SHIB price outlook
While the Shiba Inu exchange activity is beginning to appear promising after several weeks of extreme volatility and intense selling pressure, traders should note that declining exchange inflows and negative netflows do not automatically signal an imminent price increase.
However, they provide insights into the market behavior of $SHIB traders, signalling increasing demand which could eventually garner bullish momentum for the asset.
