09:13 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Waters (WAT) said Tuesday that it is launching Waters AI Link, a software capability integrating Amazon (AMZN)-backed Anthropic's Model Context Protocol into its laboratory informatics platform and has joined Anthropic's Model Hardware Standard research program. The Massachusetts-headquartered company said the technology will allow AI agents to control laboratory instruments, automate experiments and analyze results. Waters AI Link is available for early access, with general availability planned for next month for waters_connect Software customers, the company said.
